Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Officers found the suspect fleeing from the mall around 1 p.m. in the 2319 block of University Boulevard and were able to arrest him a short time later, reports the outlet. Middle River Man Charged With Killing Stranger In District Heights A Middle River man has been charged with murder in connection to the June death of a Lanham victim, authorities say. Ja'Quan Green, 21, was arrested Thursday, July 7, for the killing of Daniel James Harris, 20, according to the Prince George's County police department. Green is accused of shooting Harris in the 1700 block of Forest Park Drive in District Heights around 1:30 a.m., June 13. The crash in the northbound lanes of 355 at Gunners Branch was reported around 12 p.m., Thursday, July 14, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue state. No one was reported trapped inside of the vehicle. The roadway is currently down to a single lane as the crash is investigated.

Sam Mingsan Chen, 79, of Rockville, was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection of Stoney Creek Road and River Road when their Toyota was struck around 1:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, according to Montgomery County officials.
