Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

The 26-year-old linebacker died of “combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine,” NBC News says citing state authorities. Ferguson died Tuesday, June 21, and his death was ruled an accident. The man’s body was found around 8 a.m. in an Econo Lodge hotel room in the 5800 block of Bonnie View Lane, Howard County officials said. While the cause of the death is currently unknown, investigators suspect foul play. Police do not believe that this was a random incident and have taken a subject into custody.
