Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

DC Pursuit Ends In Motorcycle Crash A motorcyclist being chased by police officers crashed on a Northeast D.C. street, reports NBC Washington. The early morning chase led to the motorcyclist hitting a pole at Benning Road and Oklahoma Avenue NE shortly before 3 a.m., reports the outlet. Tyrone Harvin had just turned 14-years-old when he allegedly sexually assaulted and killed Dorothy Mae Neal, 83 while helping her with chores in her Bridgeview-Greenlawn neighborhood on Aug. 29, 2018. Maryland Drug Dealer Sentenced To Federal Prison In Connection To A Fatal Overdose A Baltimore man has been sentenced to federal prison for distribution of controlled substances and other drug related charges in connection to a fatal overdose, officials say. Aaron Arthur “Handz” Fields, 33, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison followed by 3 years of supervised release Friday, June 24, according to the Department of Justice. Scooter Operator Who Collided With Police Vehicle In Baltimore Died: Police The scooter operator who collided with a police vehicle in Baltimore earlier this week has died, authorities say. The 58-year-old victim had collided with the patrol vehicle at the intersection of Biddle Street and Milton Avenue shortly after 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, according to the Baltimore Police Department. Body Found Severely Burned Near Baltimore Railroad Tracks Identified A suspicious death case of a man found severely burned near railroad tracks in Baltimore has been upgraded to a homicide investigation, authorities say. Jeremiah Williamson, 18, was found near the tracks on the 2500 block of Georgetown Road shortly before 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 22. Police ID Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Maryland The victim who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Chillum has been identified as a Hyattsville woman, authorities said. Maria Quinteros, 57, was struck by a SUV heading eastbound on East-West Highway near Riggs Road around 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, according to the Prince George's Police Department. NFL Legend Tony Siragusa Fell To Similar Fate As His Father: Report Further details reveal that NFL legend, Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, has died in nearly the same manner as his father, whom he tried to save, TMZ reports.
