Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Edfried "Hans" Gassner, 83, of Kensington, was last seen on the 11400 block Rokeby Avenue around 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, according to Montgomery County Police. Gassner is 5-feet 4-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has blue eyes and is bald. Sinkhole Repairs On I-270 Expected To Take Longer Than Originally Thought The massive sinkhole that took over the southbound lanes of a Maryland Highway is going to close the interstate for much longer than expected, reports WTOP. Recent and expected weather is causing delays in plans to repair the 30 foot sinkhole on I-270 in Gaithersburg, the outlet reports.  Two lanes were shut down on the highway to repair the damage, which is now expected to hopefully reopen by July 4th weekend.
