Deadly Double Shooting Under Investigation In Philadelphia: Police One man is dead and another injured after shots rang out on a South Philadelphia street corner Tuesday night, Oct. 17. It happened near South 5th and Carpenter streets around 7 p.m., police told Daily Voice. A 23-year-old man was shot multiple times throughout the body and taken to Jefferson Hospital where he died, authorities said. Another victim, 25, was hospitalized with a wound to the left hand and placed in stable condition. No weapons were recovered from the scene and no arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning, Oct. 18.

Accused Birthday Party Shooter Arrested In Reading: Berks DA Authorities in Berks County say they arrested the gunman who opened fire at a Sinking Spring birthday party over the summer. Twenty-six-year-old Jayce Donte Lee was arrested by US Marshals at a Reading home early on Tuesday, Oct. 17, the District Attorney's Office said. Man, 32, Shot Dead In Kensington: Philadelphia PD Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting death of a 32-year-old man in Kensington. It happened around 7:45 p.m. on Monday night, Oct. 16, city police told Daily Voice.
