Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Another Fatal Shooting Investigated In Camden: Prosecutor Detectives are investigating the second fatal shooting in two days in Camden. The overnight victim was identified as 19-year-old Tymere Wilcox of Camden, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez. 22 People Rescued From Sinking NJ Charter Cruise Twenty-two people were saved by a good Samaritan from a sinking charter cruise off Sea Isle City, authorities said. The Starfish hit the Townsends Inlet Bridge on Monday evening, July 11 and started taking on water, a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said. There were no injuries. Fatal Motorcycle Crash Reported In Central Jersey: Police There was a fatal motorcycle crash in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. South Brunswick police confirmed the motorcyclist was killed. The crash occurred at 3:21 p.m. on Monday, July 11 at Georges Road and Summerfield Boulevard in South Brunswick Township, police said.
