Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Fatal Crash Reported On Jersey Shore (Developing) A fatal crash was reported on the Jersey Shore, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred before noon on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at Jackson Mills and Bergerville roads in Freehold Township, initial reports said. An unconfirmed report said that the crash resulted in a fatality. Freehold police referred calls to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, which said it was investigating the crash. A medical helicopter was requested for a 30-year-old woman who had suffered burns, an unconfirmed report said. A spokesman for the Iselin Fire Department confirmed that one victim was airlifted to St. Barnabas Hospital. No other details were released. Patrol Car Crashes On Jersey Shore: Police A police officer escaped serious injury when his police car crashed on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash was reported at about 3 p.m. at Crine Road and Pierson Drive in Marlboro Township, police said. Sergeant Michael Tischler of the Marlboro Township Police Department was involved in the crash  Neither driver suffered serious injuries, police said. On Friday, Feb. 11, Brick Street Crimes Unit (SCU) detectives observed suspicious activity in the area of 35 Beaverson Boulevard. Two motor vehicle stops were conducted relating to the activity observed. The first vehicle was occupied by Vincent Infante, 30, of Seaside Heights. Pancheros Mexican Grill's 11th New Jersey restaurant in Cherry Hill dishing up $1 burritos through its mobile app from Feb. 22 through March 8, the outlet said. In addition to burritos and burrito bowls, the restaurant's menu includes fresh-pressed tortillas, tacos, quesadillas and salads.
