Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Man, 28, Fatally Shot Outside South Jersey Apartments Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting outside an apartment building in South Jersey, authorities said. At approximately 11:35 p.m. on Thursday, Gloucester police responded to the 1300 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road for reports of gunshots, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. Lamar Morrison was captured by Egg Harbor Township police at the Fire Road Apartments, police said.   Morrison allegedly held up the gas station on Fire Road in the Farmington section of town at 5:35 p.m, Tuesday, police said. Body Of NJ Man Found In New Orleans 2 Months After Disappearance: Report The body of a 33-year-old New Jersey man was found in New Orleans more than two months after his disappearance, The Lakewood Scoop reports. Michael Gelfand, of Jackson, was found dead in NoLa on Monday, March 21, the outlet said citing sources. His body is being flown back to New Jersey for burial.
