Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Atlantic City Man Arrested With Loaded Handgun A 23-year-old man from Atlantic City was arrested with a loaded handgun and ammunition, authorities said. At 4:46 p.m., detectives of the Special Investigations Section arrested Daniele Tuitt in possession of a loaded handgun, police said.  Detective Alberto Valles was conducting surveillance when he observed Tuitt crossing Route 30 near North Carolina Avenue. Driver Killed After Hitting Deer On Atlantic City Expressway A Honda struck a deer killing its 27-year-old driver on the Atlantic City Expressway, authorities said. The crash was reported at 146 a.m. in the westbound lanes at milepost 39.4 in Winslow Township, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman. DWI Driver Indicted In Crash That Killed Vineland Student Riding Bike: Report A 54-year-old man from Vineland has been indicted in a crash that killed a high school senior last April. Philip Cox, 54, was believed to have been under the influence when he struck 18-year-old Daniel "Danny" Diaz around 8:40 p.m. on April 29, Breaking AC reported. South Jersey Teenager Killed In Christmas Day Crash: Report A teenager from South Jersey was killed in a Christmas Day crash, NJ Advance Media reported. Police found a pickup truck on its side with its roof against a tree on Mantua Boulevard in Manuta Township around 11:45 p.m., the outlet said.
