Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Driver Killed In Turnpike Crash ID'd As Central Jersey Man, 31 Authorities have identified the driver killed in a collision on the New Jersey Turnpike. Andrew N. Disney, 31, of Edison, was killed when his sedan slammed into the rear of a tractor-trailer pulled over along the turnpike, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota. Fugitive Sought In South Jersey Fatal Shooting Authorities are seeking the public's help locating a fugitive in a South Jersey shooting. A grand jury has indicted David Morales-Olmedo, 26, of Bridgeton in the fatal shooting on June 3. Morales-Olmedo was charged with first-degree murder and several weapons offenses. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Lakewood An unidentified woman was struck and killed by a vehicle, authorities said.
