Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

25-Year-Old Drowns After Slipping At Harriman State Park, Police Say A 25-year-old drowned after slipping into a lake at Harriman State Park, state police said. State troopers, along with New York State Park Police, responded to Lake Sebago Beach at the park on Monday, July 27 at about 2:45 p.m. after a report of a drowning. An investigation revealed that seven people were swimming in the lake, according to police. Rashad Ibrahim, of the Bronx, slipped off a rock into the lake and began struggling, police said. Three Tractor-Trailers, Two DOT Trucks Involved In Chain-Reaction I-84 Pileup Crash Three tractor-trailers and two New York State Department of Transportation trucks were involved in a chain-reaction pileup crash on Interstate 84. The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25 in Orange County on the stretch of the interstate in the town of Montgomery. A state police investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer traveling west in the left lane entered a work zone along with two DOT trucks.
