Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Covid-19: 105 Violations Issued To Downstate NY Restaurants, Bars For Breaching Restrictions A total of 105 new violations have been issued to restaurants and bars in downstate New York so far over the weekend for breaching COVID-19 social-distancing restrictions. The State Liquor Authority and New York State Police Task Force issued those citations on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25. Brand-New Sighting: Black Bear Finds Its Own Way To Enjoy Sunday Brunch There have been dozens of reported black bear sightings in the area the last month. Including at a golf course. Even a cemetery. And now, most recently, a bear in the Hudson Valley making its own morning meal with the contents of garbage cans. Man Dies From Injuries Suffered In Head-On Long Island Crash A man has died after being seriously injured in a head-on crash near a Long Island intersection. Nassau County Police announced on Sunday morning, July 26 that the man, one of the two drivers involved in the collision in which three others were also hospitalized, has succumbed to his injuries. 10 Rescued From Sinking Boat Off Long Island Coast Nearly a dozen passengers were pulled to safety from a boat that was sinking off the northern coast of Long Island. The incident happened around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, July 25, in Half Moon Bay off of Sands Point in Nassau County.
