Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

17-Year-Old Killed After Car Crashes Into Pole, Tree On Southern State Parkway A Long Island teenager was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Southern State Parkway. It happened on Saturday, Jan. 25 at approximately 11:30 p.m., state police said. Joseph Bertolino, 17, of East Meadow, was driving a 1999 Honda Accord eastbound on the parkway, just east of Babylon at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle, according to police.  The Accord then went onto the right shoulder, striking a light pole and a tree, said police. It happened on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 12:20 p.m. in Old Bethpage. Suspect On Loose After Man, Woman Stabbed During Robbery At Long Island Residence, Police Say A suspect is at large after a man and woman were stabbed during a robbery at a Long Island residence. It happened on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 3:20 a.m. in Uniondale.
