Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Teen Killed In Robert Moses Causeway Bridge Crash The teenager killed in a three-car crash during the morning commute on the Robert Moses Causeway Bridge has been identified. The crash happened around 6:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 on the southbound side in Suffolk County, police said. Alert Issued For 18-Year-Old Who Has Gone Missing In Area An 18-year-old has gone missing in the area and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him. Rockland County resident Wilson Atz has been missing since Dec. 20, 2019 when he was last seen walking east on Route 202 at 3:12 a.m. in Suffern, state police said.  He is approximately 5-foot-2, 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Man Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree On Meadowbrook State Parkway A 47-year-old man was killed after his car crashed into a tree on Meadowbrook State Parkway, state police said. It happened just before 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday Jan. 21. The man, Elmer D. Rios-Molina, of Hempstead, was traveling southbound on the parkway north of Exit M7, in Hempstead, when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the tree in the center median, according to state police. Rios-Molina was transported to Nassau University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.  Rios-Molina was the only occupant in the vehicle.
