Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Missing Long Island Teen Found Dead Update: A Long Island teenager who went missing has been found dead. Paige Relyea, of Nesconset, was reported missing by a family member on Monday, Jan. 20 at approximately 12:45 p.m., Suffolk County Police said. On Friday, Jan. 24, police said Relyea was located deceased on Thursday, Jan. 23 in Syosset. Nassau County Police Department detectives are investigating. No further info was released. The incidents happened late in the afternoon on Monday, Jan. 20 in Hicksville. According to Nassau County Police detectives, Hector Castro, 52, of Woodbury, approached a 7-year-old boy at the Broadway Mall and grabbed his leg inappropriately. Man Found Dead In Parking Lot Of Long Island Bar A homicide investigation is now underway after a man was found dead in the parking lot of a Long Island bar. The body was found on Monday, Jan. 20 at around 2:30 p.m. in Hempstead, Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, an unknown white male victim, who appears to be in his late 40s, was found dead in the rear parking lot of McHebes Pub/Bar on 722 Fulton St. The cause of death has yet to be determined and the investigation into this incident continues.

Claudia Gerarde, 66, went missing from her home in Farmingville at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 after she went walking around the area, Suffolk County Police said. On Monday, Jan. 21, police announced Gerarde was found. "Claudia Gerarde has been located, unharmed," police said. 21-Year-Old Severely Injured In One-Car Southern State Parkway Crash A 21-year-old suffered severe injuries in a one-car crash on the Southern State Parkway. It happened on Sunday, Jan. 19 just before 9 p.m. eastbound west of exit 37 in North Babylon. According to state police, Gerson E. Rauda-Garcia, 21, of Farmingdale, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle, a 2005 Honda Civic Del-Sol, striking multiple trees.   Rauda-Garcia was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital with severe head trauma. Rauda-Garcia was the sole occupant of the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
