Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Long Island Apartment Fire Under Investigation An investigation is underway after an apartment fire broke out on Long Island. Emergency responders rushed to the scene in Woodbury at 114 Fairhaven Boulevard off Jericho Turnpike at about 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30. After observing heavy black smoke emitting from the building, police evacuated all nearby apartments and made sure that no one was still inside. No injuries were reported. Teen Hid Cell Phone Camera In Bathroom At Long Island Restaurant, Police Say A teenager is facing charges that he concealed a cell phone camera in the woman's bathroom at the Long Island restaurant where he worked. According to detectives, the boy, a 17-year-old from Bay Shore, worked at the El Coyote Loco Restaurant, located at 3543 Merrick Road n Seaford, where he concealed a cell phone in the women's bathroom pointing at a toilet and set it on record on Saturday, Nov. 30, Nassau County Police said.
