Lehigh Valley forklift driver and beloved father of five John W. DeWitt died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5. He was 34.
Born in Jersey City, John graduated from Freedom High School before becoming employed as a forklift operator for QVC, his obituary says.
John lived in Bethlehem at the time of his death and was known for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor and compassion.

Michael McClain, 32, underwent emergency craniotomy surgery at Morristown Medical Center after a work accident on Saturday, April 2, according to a GoFundMe launched for the family’s expenses.
McClain remained in the Intensive Care Unit as of Tuesday, April 12, a campaign update says.

A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder following last month’s deadly shooting of a 46-year-old Trenton man, authorities announced.
Leroy McKnight, 43, was charged with murder and several weapons offenses after his arrest early Monday, April 11, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
