Alert Issued For North Jersey Teen Missing For Weeks
Police have issued an alert for a North Jersey teen they say has been missing for more than three weeks.
Alejandro Tiul Choc, 16, was last seen at his home on Main Street in Hackettstown on Monday, Feb. 21, local police said in a Wednesday, March 16 release.
Choc is described as a Hispanic male standing five feet tall and weighing about 130 pounds, police said.
He was last seen wearing a black button-down shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, green sneakers, pink and white ankle bracelet, green and white wrist bracelet, and a black backpack.
Choc’s destination is unknown, police said.

Warren County Woman, 24, Flown To Hospital After Being Run Over By Own Pickup Truck, Police Say
A 24-year-old Warren County woman was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries after being run over by her own pickup truck, authorities said.
Samantha Gardner, of Hackettstown, was behind the wheel of a Sierra pickup truck heading north on Grand Avenue near Robins Court when the vehicle stalled and she exited just after 2:10 p.m. on Monday, March 14, local police said in a Wednesday release.
Gardner walked toward the front of the truck, which then began rolling backward, police said.

Beloved Phillipsburg native and NJ Institute of Technology student Matthew A. Johnson died suddenly on Sunday, March 6. He was 19.
Born in Phillipsburg, Johnson was studying cyber security at the NJ Institute of Technology in Newark, his obituary says.
Johnson was also a valued member of St. James Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg.
Johnson was remembered for his kind personality, as well as his love for shad fishing and spending time with his family.

A West Virginia man has been charged with human trafficking after he picked up a 14-year-old North Jersey girl he had promised a relationship with, drove to Maryland to sexually assault her, and abandoned her in Pennsylvania when he learned that she had been reported missing, authorities announced.
