Morris County Man, 58, Seriously Injured In Rt. 80 Crash With Tractor-Trailer [Update] A Morris County man was hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing into the back of a disabled tractor-trailer on Route 80, state police confirmed. Michael D. Todd, 58, was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet passenger car when he entered the right shoulder of Route 80 eastbound and struck the back of the disabled tractor-trailer near 13.8 in Frelinghuysen Township just before 5:30 a.m. Thursday, NJSP Sgt. NJ Father, Daughter Either Electrocuted Or Drowned During Ida, Report Says A father and daughter from New Jersey were either electrocuted or drowned in the heavy floodwaters of Tropical Storm Ida, reports say. James Mcgee, 66, and Shenique Mcgee, 46, died in the basement of their flooded home on Lincoln Place in Irvington on Sept. 1, NJ.com reports. It took emergency crews about two hours to access the family’s home due to the extent of the floodwaters, which had grown tall enough to engulf several surrounding vehicles, according to the report, citing wife and mother Joann Mcgee. Driver Airlifted Following Crash With Tractor-Trailer On Rt. 78 In Warren County [Update] A driver was airlifted Tuesday afternoon following a crash with a tractor-trailer on Route 78 in Warren County, state police said. A passenger vehicle collided with the tractor-trailer in the westbound lanes near milepost 4.6 in Greenwich Township just after 2:20 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. The driver of the passenger vehicle was airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, Goez said. Two other occupants were uninjured, Goez said.
