‘Plan An Alternate Route:’ Weeklong Paving Project Will Cause Delays, Detours In Butler A weeklong paving project is expected to cause delays and detours in Butler, officials said. Road work on Kiel Avenue will begin August 17 from the intersection of Decker Road to Boonton Avenue, Butler Police said. The project is expected to last approximately one week. Drunk Sussex County Man, 43, Stabs Victim In Road During Argument, Police Say A Sussex County man was intoxicated when he stabbed another man during a fight in the middle of the road, authorities said. Bryan Schmidt, 43, is accused of pulling a knife and stabbing another man during a fight on Mitchell Avenue in Franklin on July 30, borough police said in a Friday release. Police Seek ID For Woman Who Climbed Over Front Desk, Stole Cash From Bethlehem Hotel Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman they say climbed over the front desk of a Bethlehem hotel and ran off with cash. The woman was captured on surveillance footage when she entered the lobby of the Extended Stay Hotel on Schoenersville Road, moved the plastic barrier on the front desk and climbed over the counter around 4:30 a.m. on July 29, Colonial Regional Police said.
