A radio that had been stolen from a Hunterdon County emergency squad during a rescue over the weekend was found at a local flea market, the team said. The radio was stolen as members of the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad were working in Stockton to save three victims stuck in storm waters Saturday night. Driver Airlifted In Serious Hunterdon County Crash That Closed Portion Of Route 513
A woman was airlifted following a serious crash that shut down a portion of Route 513 in Hunterdon County late Wednesday morning, authorities said. The woman was behind the wheel of a Jeep when the vehicle overturned and ejected her on Everittstown Rd. in Alexandria just after 11:35 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. An off-duty Morris County police officer chased down an alleged routine shoplifter who ran into the woods after he was found with nearly $8,000 in stolen merchandise.
