6 Decades Later, Morris County Homicide Of Brooklyn Man, 29, Remains Unsolved
More than six decades after the body of a 29-year-old Brooklyn man was discovered in the back seat of a car in Morris County, authorities continue to seek answers in hopes of making an arrest.
Hyman Goldstein, of South First Street in Brooklyn, was found dead in the back of a sedan parked on Swamp Road in East Hanover Township on Monday, July 19, 1954, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
The vehicle was stolen from Newark earlier that day around 6:45 p.m., authorities said.
It’s been exactly 67 years since Goldstein’s body was found.

Hackettstown Man, 43, Charged With Assault By Auto, DWI In Head-On Morris County Crash
A Hackettstown man has been charged with assault by auto in a head-on DWI crash in Morris County, police said.
The 43-year-old man — whose name was not released — was intoxicated when he allegedly caused a head-on crash with injuries on Route 24 near the Ralston Firehouse on May 17, Mendham Township Police said.
The man was charged with assault by auto and DWI, police confirmed Thursday.
“Luckily, the injuries sustained in this collision were minor, but driving drunk or high is a danger, not only to yourself, but to all of us on the roads,” police said. “Please drive safe and sober!”

A Newark man stopped for a violation in Warren County was found with nearly 300 ecstasy and Oxycodone pills as well as a loaded handgun, authorities said.
Kalif A. King-Williams, of South 12th Street, was stopped on Route 22 East near the Two Brothers Diner in Lopatcong around 4:15 p.m. on July 10, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release Friday.

Police are searching for a missing 22-year-old man in Northampton County.
Dylan Geuss, of Nectarine Road in Danielsville, disabled his home’s WiFi and took his electronic devices before leaving on July 7, Lehigh Township police said Friday.
Geuss is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown eyes, brown hair and glasses, police said.
Surveillance footage from the area shows a white man with a white shirt and khaki pants standing near a dark-colored sedan that had stopped in front of his home, though Geuss wasn’t seen entering the car, police said.
