Police in Northampton County are seeking information on a man who allegedly approached a boy on the street and asked him to get inside his car. The boy was walking a disabled bicycle near Main Street and Walnut Street in Hellertown when the man approached him and asked the boy to “come to him so he can assist with his bicycle” around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, local police said. The man fled north on Main Street after a nearby citizen witnessing the interaction approached the boy to ask if the man was bothering him, police said. The Dumont car salesman who caused three deaths during a wrong-way DWI crash on Route 80 was sentenced Thursday to 17 years in state prison, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said. Two toddlers were found living in “horrible conditions” in a Warren County hotel with their parents, who were allegedly using a slew of hard drugs in their presence with at least eight other adults, authorities said. Beloved North Jersey elementary teacher Anna Francesca "Frankie" Reganato died June 2 after a valiant three-year battle with lymphoma. She was 37. Born in Pequannock Township, Reganato was a longtime resident of Ramsey, where she attended high school and participated in varsity track and cross-country, her obituary says.
