An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

From All-American To Acting: Former Greeley Star Athlete Makes His Mark An ankle injury his junior year at Horace Greeley High School ended up being very fortuitous to Lowell Byers. Byers, a Chappaqua native, is an actor based in New York City. He recently gained notice for a Choice Hotel commercial now running frequently on TV in which he says the catchphrase, "Badda book. Cuomo 'Definitely Running For President,' Says NY Congressman The chatter over a 2020 presidential campaign by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is heating up. Congressman Tom Suozzi, former Nassau County Executive, told the "Bill Press Show" that Cuomo is "is definitely running for president of the United States of America, I think." Rye's Megyn Kelly's Soon-To-Launch NBC Morning Show Gets A Name Get ready to wake up to "Megyn Kelly Today." Megyn Kelly's weekday morning show is set to launch with that name on Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. according to Page Six. The show will feature a live audience. Kelly lives in Rye with her husband Douglas Brunt and three children. Kelly's Sunday night show is set to conclude this Sunday with an interview with Ricky Gervais. Kelly announced she was leaving Fox News for NBC back in January.

Legislation Combatting Tick-Borne Diseases In NY Introduced Rep. Former Sen. Gipson Considering Primarying Cuomo Gov. Andrew Cuomo's next challenger might be coming from the left.
