Man Violates Order Of Protection In Yorktown YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged Monday with violating an order of protection, Yorktown Police said. James S. Franco of Greenwich, Conn., was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Police received a call of a past harassment at a Yorktown residence and discovered unrelated to the complaint there was a Yorktown Justice Court Order of Protection will a full stay away, police said. Franco was arrested and transported back for processing. Franco was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on July 20.

Michael Goldberg was arrested and charged with Issuing a Bad Check, a Class B misdemeanor. Police received a call from Taconic Pharmacy after they received a check for $74 from a closed account at Putnam County Savings Bank. Taylor, an assistant principal at Horace Greeley High School, has filed a lawsuit in Westchester County Supreme Court after the district suspended him for two years without pay.
