An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Katonah Resident Honored By Boces As Student Of Distinction YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Teachers at the Pines Bridge School in Yorktown love Spencer Oram for his great sense of humor, contagious laugh and hard work. Arlington High School Plans Teach-In On Race In America LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. -- Arlington High School is hoping to enhance students' understanding of the issues of race and racism at a special all-day teach-in Wednesday. Park School Students Enjoy Interactive Saturdays In Ossining OSSINING, N.Y. -- From dancing and storytelling to crafts and board games, Park School has been a hub of activity on Saturdays this school year. The school has held six Interactive Saturdays, with the last one happening on this Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The event will feature storyteller Bill Gordh, an adjunct faculty member at the Jacob Burns Film Center. Missing 24-Year-Old Croton Woman Found Safe Veronica Hallock, a 24-year-old Croton resident who had been missing since Tuesday afternoon, was found safe Saturday at LaGuardia Airport. Emily Hallock, Veronica's sister, shared the news on her Facebook page. Veronica was spotted by Leslie Kuhn, who saw her at Terminal B in American Airlines departures at the food court. Pleasantville Seniors Vote To Keep Prom At Trump National In Briarcliff PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville Senior Prom will remain at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff. Seniors voted 97-44 to keep the June 8 prom at the golf club owned by the 45th President of the United States. The prom was booked in Feb. 2016, by a group of parents, faculty, and students, before Donald Trump became president.
