A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Scanteianu is one of 15,000 finalists competing for 7,400 scholarships worth $33 million. Anderson Center Student Excited To Skate In Special Olympics Jonathan Peterson, a 20-year-old student at the Anderson Center For Autism in Staatsburg, has found his true calling. Jonathan will be skating Feb. 18 in the 2017 New York State Winter Special Olympics at the McCann Ice Arena between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Jonathan has been skating since he was enrolled at the Anderson Center in Feb. 2012.  Anna LaFerriere, the recreation program coordinator at Anderson, introduced Jonathan to the ice as part of a therapeutic ice skating program. Dexter's Dog Boutique opened last April in the village. The store is run by Eric and Dana Peterson who decided to open the store after Dana got tired of working in the corporate world. Croton-Harmon's varsity wrestling team captured the league title, winning their final six matches and eight of its last nine dual meets.
