Car Plunges Into Croton Swimming Pool CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- A car in Croton was not ready to say goodbye to summer. On Monday night, an unoccupied vehicle wound up in a swimming pool at a home on Mount Airy Road West after the driver failed to put it in the correct gear, police said.  There were no injuries to anyone, including the car, according to the Croton Fire Department.
