Ramapo Supervisor Unveils Proposed Budget RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Under Supervisor Yitzchok Ullman's proposed budget, Ramapo residents are getting a tax decrease. Ullman unveiled his proposed budget at a town board meeting Tuesday. The budget cuts spending by six percent. Residents who live in unincorporated Ramapo will see a tax decrease of 3.2 percent. Residents who live in one of Ramapo's villages will see their taxes decrease by 8.2 percent. More than 50 classic cars will parade through downtown Peekskill on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an event called Peekskill's Grand Prix.
