Man Caught With Crack Cocaine At Bank In Jefferson Valley, Police Say A Northern Westchester man was charged with possessing crack cocaine at TD Bank in Jefferson Valley Monday afternoon. William Gerbe III, 28, of Yorktown Heights was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A Misdemeanor after officers initially observed his vehicle had no registration sticker, tinted windows, and an obstructed view, police said. The Westchester County Health Department will be giving free flu shots to college students and residents at two locations next month in Valhalla and White Plains. Woman Fails To Pay Fine For Leaving Dog In Hot Car, Yorktown Police Say WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Bedford woman who was inducted into the Westchester County Senior Hall of Fame was arrested in Yorktown Tuesday for failing to pay a fine after leaving her dog unattended in a car. Lynda O'Hanlon of Katonah, inducted in 2014, was arrested on the bench warrant, police said. In July, she was arrested after leaving a dog inside her hot car with the windows closed at the Triangle Shopping Center. O'Hanlon was turned over to Yorktown Police from New York State Police. She was released on $500 bail and is due back in court on Sept. 26.

Registration for the walk begins at 9 a.m., with an opening ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. followed by the walk. Last year's walk was held at White Plains High School.
