Man's Suicide Attempt Closes Route 42 For Hours: State Police (

Police activity that closed Route 42 in Bellmawr for hours has come to an end. For seven hours, the man stood on the ledge of the I-295 overpass, closing Route 42 below in both directions on Thursday afternoon, April 4 near Exit 14. "We were able to get the individual some help," said New Jersey State Trooper, who declined to provide further details. Photos at the scene show tractor trailers lined up under the bridge and police speaking to the man, standing on a ledge of the overpass. Arlington Driver, 23, Gets Manslaughter For Deadly Bailey's Crossroads Crash
A 23-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in a deadly crash that happened last year in Fairfax County, police announced. Isai Jimenez Paz, of Arlington, was driving a Toyota GR86 at a high speed westbound on Leesburg Pike in Bailey's Crossroads around 7 p.m. on Feb. 16, Fairfax County police said. A tip from a car website has solved another missing puzzle piece in a hit-and-run crash that killed a Virginia mom, whose husband died years before. Fu-Tzu "Mary" Wong, 63, was crossing Huntsman Boulevard from west to east within the crosswalk when she was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Dec. 27, 2023, Fairfax County police said. Police have announced additional arrests at a massive illegal car meetup where drivers antagonized officers in Fairfax County last weekend. Five men who came to Fairfax County looking for sex with a child they'd met online were greeted by police, who swiftly took them into custody.
