Champion Horse Hails From Granite Springs Farm GRANITE SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Voodoo Song, who was born in Granite Springs, has been tearing it up on the track.He's won four races in six weeks at the Saratoga Race Course, becoming the first horse since 1952 to accomplish this feat. Voodoo began his life at the Stonewall Farm on Mahopac Avenue. At just three years old, he's already earned $300,000.  Another Stonewall horse is also excelling on the track. Papa Shot recently competed in the prestigious Korea Cup. He finished in third in the $1 million race and plans to race at Belmont Park this fall.

United Way Poughkeepsie Sends Almost 9,000 Pounds Of Donations To Texas POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- United Way of the Dutchess-Orange region is doing what it can to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.On Tuesday,  UPS sent a team of volunteers to United Way's Poughkeepsie office to pick up 8,815 pounds of items donated to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The donations will be delivered by UPS Freight directly to the Texas organizations.
