Amy Sayegh knocked off incumbent Dini LoBue in the Republican primary 57 percent to 43 percent, according to unofficial returns from the Putnam County Board of Elections. Player Punches Ref In Face At Soccer Game In Yorktown, Police Say A 25-year-old player is due in court Tuesday after punching a referee in the face during a men's soccer game at the Yorktown Sports Complex Sunday afternoon, police said. Franklin Javier Ordonez Estrada of Peekskill was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor, for punching the referee in the face and body, causing bodily harm, police said. The incident occurred around 3:48 p.m. Sunday at the facility on Navajo Street off Route 6, police said. Estrada was arrested at the scene, process and arraigned. He is due back in court on Sept. 12.
