An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Mary Ann Russo Of Cortlandt Manor, 83 CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Mary Ann Russo of Cortlandt Manor died on Monday, Feb. 27. She was 83. Mary Ann was born Sept. 14, 1933, and married Joseph Russo on Nov. 3, 1956.  She is survived by her husband Joseph, son Steven, daughter Linda, sister Anna and three grandchildren Julian DeBerry, Kerry and Jessica Russo. Calling hours: none.  A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church. Internment will follow at Assumption cemetery.
