Village Of Ossining Rejects Roundabout Petition OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Village of Ossining announced Wednesday they are rejecting the petition submitted by the Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce to pursue a referendum regarding a proposed roundabout for downtown. Of the 2,683 signatures submitted, 1,049 signatures were rejected, leaving 1,634 valid signatures, below the 2,146 signatures needed to force a referendum.
