Westchester Woman Jumps To Death At Bear Mountain Bridge CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A Westchester woman died after jumping off the Bear Mountain Bridge Tuesday afternoon in what Westchester County Police are calling a suicide. Nancy Higgons, a 63-year-old Hastings resident, was seen jumping off the southside of the bridge at around 4:25 p.m., according to Kieran O'Leary of the Westchester County Police.
