The committee met on March 31 to address complaints filed by Republicans Tom Diana and Greg Bernard, who successfully ran for two open seats on the Town Board, against Democrats Roseanne Brackett and Bob Giordano. The 17-year-old Galan is now the author of the new children's book, "Differences Are Blessings."  Seven weeks after she was adopted from Siberia in 2001 at three years old, Galan was diagnosed with Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome, an enzyme deficiency.
