Police Investigating After Man's Body Is Found In Peekskill Creek PEEKSKILL, N.Y . -- Peekskill Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a creek on Park Street on Tuesday morning. Police received a call at 10:45 a.m. after a passerby saw a body in a creek on the 1300 block of Park Street, according to Lt. John White. Police, along with the medical examiner and a district attorney went to the scene and found a middle-aged Hispanic male, according to White. White said there were no obvious signs of trauma and police are working to identify the victim.

Harmony Thaler was found in Miami about two weeks after her sister, Melody LaRocca went to her home and could not locate her. According to Sgt. Tom Genter, Yorktown police learned that she had taken a bus to Miami. Contacts were initiated in the Miami area that led to her being located, police said. Steven Lorenz is a white male 5-foot-8, 200-pound who was last seen at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning wearing an orange jacket, black jeans and carrying an green lunch bag.
