John Egan, 84, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. -- John Egan, of Yonkers, formerly of Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland, died suddenly Saturday, Oct. 31, at age 84. Egan was the New York state past president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and worked for Con Edison for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine (nee Cunnane); his children, Ann, Maureen (Michael) McGorty, Kathy (Michael) Connor, Jack (Tawna) and Joseph; and his grandchildren, Kristin, Johnny, Caitlin, Julianne, Matthew, Tara and Brian.

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Antigone Michaels (nee Papadopoulos), 96, of Cliffside Park, formerly of New York, died Thursday, Oct. 29.She was a member of the Philoptochos Society of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Ascension in Fariview, a gifted singer, dancer, cook and bingo aficionado. She was the last survivor of seven brothers and sisters.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Gerasimos Spathis and Louis Michaels.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (nee Spathis ) Allen; a son Andrew Spathis, and his wife Stephanie Ann; and her grandson, John Peter Allen.

Dr. Hector Rocco Giancarlo, 84, Formerly Of Englewood
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Dr. Hector Rocco Giancarlo, 84 of Delray Beach, Fla., and formerly of Englewood, died Wednesday, Oct. 28. Born in Newark, Giancarlo graduated with a B.S. from Manhattan College in 1953, and earned his M.D. from the University of Padua in 1957. He served his internship at Jersey City Medical Center and his residency in general surgery and otolaryngology at New York Eye & Ear. He was a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Head and Neck Society.

SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Salvatore Cacciatore, of South Hackensack, died Thursday, Oct. 29, at the age of 64. Cacciatore was born in Sicily, Italy, and came to America 36 years ago.
Before retiring, he was a welder for Aniero Concrete of Little Ferry. He was a parishioner of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church.

MAHWAH, N.J. -- Sanoquet Zulma, 67, of Brooklyn, died Wednesday, Oct. 28. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, she was a longtime resident of Brooklyn and recently lived with her daughter in Mahwah. Before her retirement, Zulma was a social worker for several years.
She was a longtime member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church and most recently attended Bethany Church in Wyckoff with her daughter.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Diaz; and her granddaughter, Katerina Diaz.
