Ceremony Dedicates New North White Plains Train Station Parking Garage
NORTH WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Local, state and federal officials, including Metro-North Railroad President Joseph Giulietti, helped dedicate a new parking garage at the North White Plains train station on Friday, according to a report in lohud.com.
The 500-space facility, which has been in use since Oct. 5, includes permit parking on three floors and metered parking on two floors, lohud reported.
The garage also has spaces for drivers with disabilities on the first two levels, along with charging stations for electric vehicles, parking for scooters and bike racks, according to lohud.com.

Brace Wynkoop, 85, Longtime Stamford Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Brace "Duggie" Wynkoop, 85, died Friday, Oct. 30, at Stamford Hospital. Wynkoop was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Stamford to Brace and Louise (Madigan) Wynkoop. Raised in Stamford with his four siblings, he served in the Korean War after graduating from Stamford High School and continued his service in Germany, where he met his wife Erika.
After returning to the States and eventually leaving the Army, the couple settled in Stamford, where he pursued his career in engineering at Stelma/Data Products.

Robert T. Rovinelli, 81, Retired Bridgeport Police Officer
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Robert T. Rovinelli, 81, of Bridgeport, who retired to Fort Myers Beach, Fla., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, after a brief battle with cancer. Rovinelli retired from law enforcement after 20 years of service with the Bridgeport Police Department.
He is survived by his son, Michael, and his wife; his daughter, Stacey and her wife; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anita.
Per his wishes, there will not be any services.
Hugh Kenneth Magee, 93, Of West Harrison
HARRISON, N.Y. -- Hugh Kenneth Magee, a resident of West Harrison, died Sunday, Nov. 1, at the age of 93. Magee was born July 21, 1922, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to the late Isabella (Stewart) and Hugh Magee. He moved to America with his parents and brother Leslie (predeceased).
After graduating from White Plains High School in 1941, he briefly worked for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. before serving during World War II.
