Irvington Middle School Students Make Blankets For Kids In Need IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Irvington Middle School students and teachers recently made blankets for children in need. Organized by the Positive Impact Club at the middle school and funded by the Irvington About Safe Kids Coalition (iASK), 12 blankets were donated to the Generations program at the Lexington Center for Recovery in Mount Kisco.  Jennifer Traditi, the student assistance counselor at the middle school and high school, is the adviser of the Positive Impact Club, which promotes healthy decision-making and provides awareness about alcohol and drug abuse. History Comes To Life At Putnam Valley Elementary School PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- The Putnam Valley Elementary School fourth grade team worked with the Living History Foundation of Buchanan to give students an opportunity to learn about the Revolutionary War. A fife and drum corps made up of high school students and a burning camp fire set the mood for the event.
