Friday Night Jazz, Blues, More Return To Yonkers Waterfront
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Now celebrating its tenth year, the Free Friday Night Jazz, Blues and More on the Waterfront Series is back in Yonkers.The 12-week series takes place every Friday evening, rain or shine from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in June, July and August, at the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Amphitheatre.

This year, the lineup features Grammy nominee Gil Parris, “The Voice” runner-up Nicholas David, and the JT Project. There will also be a special tribute by Jazzmeia Horn to the late Ella Fitzgerald, who was raised in Yonkers .
County Hosts Public Hearing To Discuss Bee Line Bus Fare Increase
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A public hearing about the proposed fare increase on Bee-Line Bus Paratransit will take place on May 31 at the Westchester County Center.The fare increase is scheduled to begin in June and the meeting is from 6 to 9 p.m. The Westchester County Center, is located at 198 Central Ave. in White Plains. The accessible building is served by Bee-Line routes 1W, 3, 5, 6, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 27, 40, 41, 77 and F.
