Mamaroneck Avenue School Fifth-Graders Participate In Talent Show WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Students at Mamaroneck Avenue School hosted, sang, danced, played instruments and told jokes at the MAS Fifth grade talent show on Monday, Feb. 29.  Individual students and groups signed up to audition and were paired with a staff mentor to help them prepare for their performance.  The whole process from start to finish was an opportunity for the students to develop their talent, build self-esteem, compromise in a group, set a goal and experience success. Not only did the students perform but they supported each other.

Malloy announced Monday that, in accordance with a proclamation from President Barack Obama, flags should be lowered to half-staff in honor of First Lady Nancy Reagan.  U.S. and state flags in Connecticut will fly at half-staff immediately until sunset on the day of her interment. Reagan, 94, died Sunday, March 6, at her home in Bel Air, Calif.
