Officials ID Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Train In North Jersey NJ Transit officials have identified the pedestrian fatally struck by a train this week. Naji Jacob, a 74-year-old New Providence resident, was struck and killed by a train near Murray Hill Station in New Providence early Wednesday morning, Dec. 27. At 5:05 a.m., a Gladstone Branch train en route to Hoboken, fatally struck Jacob, NJ Transit officials said. There were no injuries to the people on board the train, NJ Transit said.

Pennsauken Shooting Victim, 35, Dropped At Emergency Room Dies A 35-year-old Pennsauken man died of gunshot wounds after he was dropped off outside a Camden County emergency room on Wednesday Dec. 27, authorities said. Esterlin Torres was identified as the victim shot on the 1400 block of Louis Street just after 6:05 p.m., Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. Bayonne Man Exposed Himself To Child: Police A 22-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and charged with exposing himself to a child on Wednesday, Dec. 20, police said. At 4:36 p.m., police were called to the juvenile's home at East 4th Street and Lord Avenue after Julian M. Perez Pareja exposed himself, officers said. Police were unable to locate Pareja at the time, but an investigation led to Pareja's arrest on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at the 300 block of Avenue C, officers said.
