Norwalk Symphony Hosts Kids Program, Season Finale
NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Symphony Orchestra's (Not) Just for Kids program will feature local percussionist Damon Grant on Saturday, May 9.
This program is designed to introduce children ages 3 to 10 to what the instruments of the orchestra can do and give them an opportunity to try them out. This free, one-hour program will be presented at the Wilton, New Canaan and Norwalk libraries as follows:

New Rochelle Watercolor Artist Exhibits Work In Greenwich
GREENWICH, Conn. -- Works of watercolorist Andrea Scott, of New Rochelle, N.Y., are on display at the Greenwich Art Society Gallery through May 20 in an exhibit titled "Watercolors Wild and Cultivated."
There will be a closing party Wednesday, May 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Scott's work has appeared in shows in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, including at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge. Many of her works have been judged by curators of major museums, such as the Sterling and Francine Clark Institute of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim.

Bedford School Group Hosts Parent Battle Of The Bands
BEDFORD, N.Y. – For the first time, Bedford FAME (Foundation for Arts, Music and Education) will hold the Parent Battle of the Bands fundraiser at the Fox Lane High School theater on Friday, May 15, at 7 p.m.
The Parent Battle of the Bands, which features local talent from across the Bedford Central School District, includes Ask Your Mom, Butterbee Love and the Gorilla Orchestra, Exit 5, ONL and The Standing Eights. Several members of the bands are parents who have children in Bedford schools.
