Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Baltimore Police Nab Several Guns, Marijuana & Money From 23-Year-Old Baltimore Police seized a plethora of illegal items from a 23-year-old male following a community tip, the department said on Facebook.  Police searched the 1200 block of Gilmore Avenue where they recovered several firearms, 1738 grams of suspected marijuana, money and various ammunition. The suspect was charged with handgun and narcotics violations, police said.

Silver Spring Man Charged Months After Crash That Killed Beloved Grandmother: Police A Silver Spring man has been arrested in a Kensington crash that killed a 72-year-old grandmother last November, authorities said. Gustavo Santos Campos, 42, was charged in the crash that left Michaele Anne Belford dead on Nov. 16, 2021, Montgomery County Police said. Maryland Teenager Missing From Greenbelt For Over Three Weeks The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) is seeking the public's help in locating Maryland teenager that has been missing for over three weeks. Byron Santos-Hernandez, 17, has been missing from Greenbelt since Monday, March 7, the NCMEC said.  He is described as White Hispanic male, standing 5'8," and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with yellow and red design, black jeans and white Adidas sneakers, the NCMEC said.
