Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Former Maryland Park Police Officer Sentenced For Possessing, Sharing Child Pornography A former Maryland National Capital Park Police officer has been sentenced for possessing numerous videos depicting the sexual abuse of minors, the US Attorney’s Office for Maryland said. Anthony Mileo, 56, of Huntingtown, was sentenced to three years in federal prison and five years of parole on Tuesday, March 29, the office said.
