Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Man Barricades Himself In Home With 3 Young Kids In Essex (Developing) Baltimore Police were on the scene trying to arrest a man who barricaded himself inside an Essex home with three young children inside, according to initial reports. The children were taken from a back door of the property while the subject was arrested in the front, initial reports said. Inital reports also said the man was reportedly on PCP. Baltimore Man Charged With First Degree Murder Within Minutes: Police A Baltimore man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal shooting at Bel-Park Towers last week, authorities said. Marcus Harris, 30, is being without bail on for the first-degree murder of Courtney Campbell, 34, Baltimore Police said. Police responded to the shooting in the 3800 block of W. 1 Dead In Lanham Apartment Stabbing: Police One person is dead in an apparent stabbing at a Lanham apartment, authorities said. Police responded to for a reported stabbing in the 9900 block of Greenbelt Road around 1:20 a.m. on Monday, March 28, Prince George’s Police said. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male inside one apartment suffering from trauma to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. 'Maybe Next Time,' Says Maryland Judge Who Tossed Assembly's Reconfigured District Map A Maryland judge rejected the General Assembly’s newly drawn Congressional district map and asked them to try again in a week, WBAL reports.
