Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Lloyd Philip Simon, 71, was sentenced to 70 months, followed by five years of parole, and ordered to pay $2,034 in restitution on Thursday, March 24, the office said. Silver Spring Man, 21, Arrested On Several Child Pornography Charges: Police A Montgomery County man was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography by Maryland State Police on Thursday, March 24, according to authorities.  Garrett Shaffer, 21, is being held without bail after being charged with eight counts of distribution of child pornography, MDSP said. Shaffer was arrested after an investigation was launched into the distribution online child pornography in August 2021, police said.  Investigators later identified Shaffer as the suspect and apprehended him at his home. Police did not release any other information.
