Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Trauma Surgeon Shot In Attempted Carjacking Aided By Hopkins Colleagues What they first thought was a twisted April Fools joke turned out to be a chilling reality for surgeons in the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Friday morning. One of their own surgeons had been shot in an attempted carjacking, and he needed their help. Officers found Madhu Subramanian, 38, suffering a gunshot wound in the 1200 block of East 36th Street in Northeast Baltimore just after 7 a.m., city police said. 2 Men Injured In Evening Northwest Baltimore Shooting: Police Two men are in the hospital following an evening shooting in Northwest Baltimore, authorities said. An officer heard gunshot wounds coming from the 4400 block of Reisterstown Road just before 7 p.m. on Friday, April 1, Baltimore Police said. After responding the officer found two males, ages 20 and 19, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
